There are many bible verses about giving. As devout followers of Christ, we believe in tithes and offerings as a gesture of good will, and that they will bring financial freedom and an overflow of blessings from the Lord God Almighty.
Tithe Definition:
But how does one define tithe? A tithe means a tenth, a tenth of our earnings, and God asks us to bring the whole tithe into His storehouse. Although sounding absurd at first, we believe the answer to financial freedom is to give, willingly and without expectation. It is not a matter of faith, because we have a genuine desire to help others. It is not about who you give it to either, because God is omnipotent (all powerful). It is the act of giving; "It's the thought that counts", as the old saying goes.
Still, God tells us to have faith that he will provide for all our needs and then some anyway. He is omnipresent (all-seeing and ever-present), and omniscient (all knowing) also, and he will see and acknowledge this good will gesture and change the status quo to suit your needs. So if you believe in God and you want to see his favour turned towards you, then believe in His promises and try Him in this: test His generosity by bringing the whole tithe into His storehouse to see what He does with your life.
