. . . "How is it that ye sought me? Wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?" (2:49 KJV) - When Jesus was a child, His parents lost Him and He could not be found anywhere. They eventually found Him in a church, where He replied that it was necessary for Him to be there because He was chosen to do God's work.

To preach the acceptable year of the Lord." (4:18-19)

. . . " Ye will surely say unto me this proverb: 'Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernum, do also here in thy country.' But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land; But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow. And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian." (4:23-25) - Jesus explains that no prophet is welcome in his own town (country), and that previous prophets did not heal there. For this, He is thrown out of the synagogue. Jesus said some very radical things and upset a lot of people.
